Demystifying the Older Americans Act Webinar Series

In honor of Older Americans Month in May, SAGE is hosting a training series on the Older Americans Act (OAA), the landmark piece of legislation that funds aging services across the country. The OAA plays a pivotal role in helping older people age how and where they want, funding programs and services that keep people independent, in their community, and out of institutional long-term care.

This series will include three webinars: the first about HIV issues and the OAA 101, the second on LGBTQ+ issues and the OAA 101, and a final webinar empowering activists and volunteers to get involved in OAA advocacy.
